I hold a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Biological Science with a Chemistry minor from California State University Fullerton. While I am trained in Natural Science, I also greatly enjoy the logical aspects of Mathematics. Whenever possible, I try to communicate that point of view to my students so that they can see Math from a different perspective.While I try to share my own views, I do not do so to the exclusion of my students' viewpoints. Having taught for eight years and tutored for more than a decade, I know that every student learns differently and has different interests. I am very careful not to assume that what is good for one student will be good for another. By establishing a dialogue with my students, I can get to know them, and how they learn. Moving forward, I design lessons that will appeal to them while also setting standards of development.In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and outdoor activities like hiking. I also enjoy cooking and crocheting.
