Robert has nearly twenty years of experience as a teacher and a tutor. His instructional approach is firmly rooted in the epistemological perspective that each of us, through our own unique and varied experiences, constructs a mental model of the way the world works. As such, it is really only by accessing those models of scientific and mathematical understanding that are held by students, through a focused and adaptive method of questioning, that the gaps and misconceptions that impede student learning can ultimately be identified and resolved. As his ongoing commitment to the betterment of the learning environment, he holds professorship at two colleges. All tutoring takes place in a public space in Laguna Hills.
