I have teaching assistant experience in general biology courses and undergraduate chemistry laboratory classes. With these opportunities, I give extra help to students and that has only made me want to continue teaching so I can share all the knowledge I have about the biological world. I am qualified to tutor students in many subjects, including biology, chemistry, physiology, algebra, and geometry.I am seeking a bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Utah and am enrolled as a pre-med student. I have a long-standing passion for the body and the underlying science that makes the body function on a day to day basis.I grew up in southern California and am a Laguna Beach ocean lifeguard right now. With this job, I can transform what I know about anatomy and physiology from class into useful information I can use during emergencies in the field, where I encounter a variety of injuries daily. Even after I graduate I plan to keep lifeguarding and teaching. Ultimately I want to practice emergency medicine, as that is my biggest dream.In my free time I enjoy skiing, hiking, ice climbing, spear fishing, and surfing. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you!
